I nannied for an infant in the beginning of 2021.
I nannied for a 3 year old and a 9 year old in 2021 as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love coloring/painting. Or pretty much anything with art. Playing outside is always a fun time. (taking them to the park, playing sports with them, etc) It's fun watching them draw or teaching them how to draw certain things. If they're old enough I like to play/teach board games to them or video games (if allowed).
The most important part about being a nanny...
The kids safety and happiness. Somebody's childhood has a lot to do with how they will develop and grow into adulthood. Kids need to be treated with kindness and compassion. They copy what they see from their parents and babysitters. They pick up the way they speak and act. It's important to hold boundaries, but still be able to make good, happy memories with them.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with down syndrome, autism, assburgers, muscular dystrophy, deaf and blind children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite thing about all of my nanny jobs is how excited the kids get to see me every single day. It just makes my heart so full to see how loving and inviting kids are every single day.
