Childhood is such a delicate developmental stage- I feel like it's really important to give children the best tools possible to grow into who they are as people. I think the most important part of being a nanny is taking care of the children in the most loving and nurturing way possible, and taking care of any chores in the house that are limiting the parents ability to give their children their full love and attention at the end of the day.

I grew up helping out an elderly neighbor and her autistic daughter every weekend -- it was really exciting getting to teach her daughter the alphabet, and to work in the garden together.
