The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where kids feel seen, heard, and cared for. It’s not just about watching them—it’s about building trust, helping them grow, and being a steady, positive presence in their day-to-day lives.
My experience with special needs children...
In high school, I was a mentor in our special needs gym class, where I helped support and include students in activities. It taught me patience, adaptability, and extremely creative problem solving for when things light a wee bit stubborn.

Oh man, this is a hard one. But I would say when I made a treasure map to find buried treasure! It was so so fun watching the kids team up.
