The most important thing about being a nanny in my eyes is having the children engaged and happy with everything you do with them. For them to be excited and trust you to care for them and to have a good role model and person they can enjoy time with. Doing things that keep them engaged and happy in activities.

I’ve helped care for my brother who is high functioning autistic for 14 years. I’ve nannied a friends 3 year old daughter who was on the spectrum. As well as a cousin with cerebral palsy that I cared for for 6 years 0-6 years old. And was an Instructional aid in a mod to severe pre-K class.
