A little bit about me

My husband and I recently moved to Denver after returning from working with a non profit oversees. We are expecting our first baby in January, which as you can imagine, has made it hard for me to find a long term job. My hope is to be able to continue nannying even after my son is born, and with the right family, that I would be able to bring him along with me. I am the youngest in a big family, most of my siblings have children of their own and I've spent many years babysitting them, providing childcare for people in our church, and helping with children's ministry classes. I love the simplicity working with kids, watching them experience things for the first time and helping them learn and grown. I enjoy being outdoors and hope that my little boy will have many memories of us going to the park, taking walks and enjoying nature.

I spent most of Middle and High School babysitting my nieces and nephews, for families in our local church and working with children's ministry classes. I have been CPR/First Aid certified in the past, but do not currently have it up to date.

I enjoy helping kids with homework, baking and crafts. I love being outside and It's always nice to be able to take them for walks, to the park and spend time away from screens.
