The most experience I have gathered has come from caring for my five younger siblings. I have had two very big experiences the past two years where I watched my younger siblings for a week with my parents gone both times.

I feel that being a nanny requires a special type of care and compassion. You need to be able to be patient and loving, even if it is chaotic and kids are crying.

One of my favorite moments caring for kids was when I was watching a group of four kids and one of them cam up to me and gave me a big hug. She stayed there for a while and nestled her head right on my shoulder. It was the sweetest thing and has stuck with me ever since.
