I started working with infants as a teachers aide when I was 16 in a childcare center environment. Over the years I still worked with children in different centers but worked my way up. In college I was a teachers assistant. After college I worked for a company in Maple Grove as a lead infant teacher, then got promoted to the assistant director of the center. I currently work as a lead infant teacher at another location.

I love to be outside, being active like going for walks when it’s nice, playing golf, swimming, watching movies, and arts and crafts.

I believe the most important part about being a nanny is teaching the kids, helping them with their basic needs, and being there for them in the good and bad. Not only the kids but also the parents.

My favorite moment when working with kids is the smile in their faces when they see you and gives you lots of snuggles and hugs. It is crazy how times flies by and how much you can make a difference in a child’s life. I once had an infant I helped teach him to crawl and walk and 4 years later saw him go off to kindergarten.
