The most important part about being a nanny...
Understanding and being able to adapt to every kids' needs. EVERY child I have babysat has been COMPLETELY different, which makes my job so much fun! I have found that every child requires different methods and forms of discipline, love, and attention. Getting to know what each child's needs are then being able to adapt is the key to a successful relationship of love and trust!
My experience with special needs children...
I nannied for a child with some developmental delays, doing physical and speech therapy with him daily! Also have experience with various forms of Autism and Fragile X Syndrome! Though every child is unique in their personalities, their special capacity to love seems to remain the same!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was probably the time me and my kiddos were watching Frozen, blasting it as we sang and danced around the room. It wasn't until a few moments later I realized the poor pizza man had been patiently standing outside the door for who knows how long haha! Got too carried away in all the fun! :)
