Hi! My name is Anna Schneider. I am 21 years old and I am Jacksonville born and raised! I graduated from Bishop Kenny High School in 2019 and attended UNF. After a short stint living in Georgia, I am back in Jacksonville and I'm looking for a wonderful family to develop a relationship with and to provide a nurturing, educational, and fun environment for their child/children. I have been babysitting since I was 11 years old, worked in a reputable preschool during college, and am close to completing my degree in Elementary Education. As a result, I have worked with kids of all ages, from newborns to preteens. I have my own vehicle and I have my drivers license. I am happy to complete any background screening that the family deems necessary. I am also willing to discuss live-in nanny positions. As I enter this new chapter of my life, I am willing and excited to explore any and all options!

I worked as a preschool teacher in a reputable preschool in Jacksonville while I was in college. I am also close to completing my degree in Elementary Education, which has provided me with multiple internship opportunities in the classroom in schools around Jacksonville. I have babysat for friends and family since I was 11 and I have experience with children of all ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I think that outdoor enrichment is extremely important in children's development, especially when we live in such a beautiful environment. Trips to the park, pool, beach, and zoo can be fun, productive, and educational. I also think that making educational experiences fun for children is extremely important. Places like the MOSH museum or the Cummer are fantastic options. When staying home, sensory activities are vital in development of younger children and things like arts and crafts are fun and engaging for children of all ages.

My absolute favorite memory is watching the first steps of the first baby girl I babysat. I watched her from when she was a newborn until now. She's now 10. Time flies!
