The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting, nurturing relationship with both the child and their family. A nanny plays a vital role in a child’s daily life not just supervising, but actively supporting their growth, learning, and emotional development. Creating a safe, consistent, and loving environment allows children to thrive and feel secure. Being a nanny also means being dependable, communicative, and respectful of the family’s values and routines, while bringing creativity, patience, and genuine care into each day. In my experience, being a nanny also means wearing many hats caregiver, teacher, role model, and even a source of comfort during tough moments. It’s important to stay flexible and attentive to each child’s unique personality, interests, and needs. Whether it’s guiding them through challenges, encouraging their imagination, or simply sharing a laugh, every interaction is an opportunity to make a positive impact on their development and well being
My experience with special needs children...
I had the opportunity to work with children with special needs through Camp Grace, a specialized program under the YMCA. In this role, I provided direct support to campers with a range of physical, developmental, and emotional needs. I adapted activities to ensure accessibility, promoted inclusion in group settings, and built strong, trusting relationships with each child. This experience deepened my patience, empathy, and creativity as a caregiver and helped me learn how to communicate effectively with both children and their families.
Additionally, I collaborated closely with team members to create a safe and supportive environment, where every child could participate meaningfully and feel valued.

Babysitter Available in Cary, NC: Mariana G.
Hi! I’m Mariana, I’m 14 and entering into freshman year of high school. I live in a Spanish speaking household and I’m fluent in both English and Spanish. I am also currently in a swim club at my local pool. My interests are reading, coloring and helping others! If I took care of your kids, I could bring some activities to do (with your permission of course), color, play, listen to (age appropriate) music, and any idea you or kid might have :) Helping others is very important to me because seeing others happy and with joy brightens my day! I look forward to helping you with your kids!
Full-Time Nanny Available in Cary, NC: Katelynd C.
Hi my name is Kate!
I have been nannying on and off for about three years as I completed my Bachelors Degree and Juris Doctorate.
I worked full-time for two years with a family with one child (aged one), and later part-time, for about a year, with a family with two small children (aged 6 months and three years).
I am looking to connect with a family who needs full-time work, but would be open to part-time work as well! I am more than happy to nanny for any age, and as one of six children in my own family, would be more than open to nannying for several children.
Please do not hesitate to reach out, I am more than happy to share more details about myself and experience!

Full-Time Nanny Available in Cary, NC: Jennifer W.
I am a 36-year-old experienced nanny looking for a long term full time position with an infant. I have a BS degree from UNC-G in Human Development and Family Education with a concentration in Early Care and Education and an AAS degree in Early Childhood Education from GTCC. I am also CPR/First Aid certified by the Red Cross. I have been a full time nanny since 2013, usually starting when the children are newborns and staying with a family as long as possible. Infants and toddlers are my favorite age group. For me, being a nanny is my career, not just a job. I put my heart fully in this so I do not take jobs unless I know it will be a good fit. I have great relationships with all of the families that I have worked for.
