Hi, I'm a 28 year old woman who has always had a passion for caring for children. From babysitting my neices, to working in a daycare, to caring for special needs children in their homes, to now treating sick and injured children as a paramedic I have always loved watching over children and seeing the light in their eyes when they learn something new. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a teacher's assistant with 1st and 2nd graders for a year before working in a daycare for another year. In the daycare I worked with ages 0-6 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love swimming, going to the park, splashpad, or waterpark, swinging, climbing, hiking within the children's abilities, camping, and gardening, and introducing them to new animalseither on farms or in the zoo.

Indoors, I enjoy seeing toddlers explore new colors and textures, reading to the children, introducing them to music and seeing their joy in it. I also love including children in activities like baking, sewing little things, reading, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing is that the children are learning and growing and that they are and feel safe, secure, and loved at all times.

My experience with special needs children...

I cared for children with cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy. Skills included mixing and giving their liquid diet through g-tubes, suprapubic catheterization, medication administration, bathing, and all personal care.
