A little bit about me

Experienced mom/grandma nanny seeking a family who will value my extensive experience with children & the importance of healthy food & familiar routines in the home. I enjoy storytelling with books; all music & dance; all games, sports with kids of all ages, as well as nature, pets, animals, creative arts & crafts...all with a sense of wonder & humor too! Coaching youth girls softball & soccer when my daughters were children showed me how important teamwork & inspiration was the key to a winning season, and balanced life.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I owned a state-licensed home daycare for 3 years; coached youth girls softball for 3 years; assisted coaching youth girls soccer for 5 years, nanny for family of 3 children for 3 years; mentored teenagers at church youth groups for over 10 years; childcare/nanny for my grandchildren (ages 1 month - 16 years) for 16 years and continue to provide mentoring/tutoring for my 15 yr old grandson.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love all toys that teach children skills like reading, math and science. I love dolls, puppets, cars, trucks and anything that makes music or real life sounds. Arts, crafts, outside games, nature walks and fun activities that the children enjoy safely.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To provide a positive influence, safe home environment and healthy routine no matter what day or season!

My experience with special needs children...

My youngest daughter has bipolar disorder, as well as learning disabilities and struggles with balancing her emotions and logic as an adult. Her son has a very high IQ, but very little social skills as shyness prevents him from many social activities. I mentor both of them as "mom" and "grandma", but also understand how much they both need me in their lives as a permanent part of their homelife. My passion for helping other children with similar issues feel better has been my personal journey or "calling". I have no desire to retire & love the role as a nanny/teacher/mentor.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Playing at the splash pads the local park had just installed with 5 kids ages 9 months-11 years old. We were soaked from head to toe when the parents arrived to watch us have so much fun...they joined in too! Thankfully, I brought enough towels!

I am a graduate student (physical therapy) in the Spokane area and looking for temporary nanny/baby sitting position. I have minimal experience with baby-sitting professionally but I grew up in a big family and watch my baby nieces often, so I am fairly comfortable working with kids! I am able to drive, cook and perform basic needs on top of care.

Hello! My name is Anna Kittilstved, and I’m a professional nanny with over 10 years of experience caring for children from 3 months to 12 years old. I previously worked as a preschool teacher and at the children’s center at Sacred Heart Medical Center, where I gained valuable experience supporting children’s growth, safety, and development.
