I have 8 years of babysitting experience, and 1 year of daycare experience. I previously worked in daycare, specializing with toddlers, and learning to master the skills to care for children ages 0-5! My daycare experience covers food preparation and safety, first aid + CPR training and certification, curriculum and lesson planning, cleaning and sterilization/sanitization, and customer service. My childcare experience covers almost anything you can imagine, as an Aunt to two wild girls ages 6 and 8, who has always loved to be involved in their care.

Activities I love to engage in with kids include art and crafts, sidewalk chalk, outdoor play, bubbles, games that incorporate imagination+pretend play, toys, and including them in chores and household tasks.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me as a nanny is building a valuable connection and a relationship with the children you are caring for. I remember all of the nannies from my childhood. The ones who WANTED to be there and truly cared for me, gave me memories and taught me lessons that are invaluable, and that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with small children that are hard of hearing/deaf, and children that have developmental delays.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I was doing a puzzle with the 5 year old I care for: I wasn’t doing so well despite it being only 20 pieces, and I let her know how good she was at putting puzzles together, and she replied “you’re not.” We laughed together for so long!
