A little bit about me

My name is Annemarie Peters I typically go by Annie. I have worked in the field of ECE for over 20 years. I believe partnerships with families play a key role in quality care, and would be truly thankful to have the opportunity to work with you as we watch the children grow and learn together. I am married and have 2 school age children. I have my CDA, and I’m CPR and First Aid certified. I enjoy taking classes and workshops about children and the field of early education. There are always new things to learn and explore with the children in my care. Children grow so quickly in the early years and I am grateful to be a part of it and contribute in some way to their development.
I am looking for a position that would fit into the hours while my children where in school.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at an early childhood center for 22 years. Most of that time I was with children 6weeks to 2 years old.
I recently worked as a private nanny for 3 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I sing a lot and enjoy listening to and acting out goofy songs with the children. I love introducing new tactical experiences to children. In my opinion it is never too early to introduce arts and crafts. Outside time is valuable, I love to be in the presence of littles as they explore the world.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having worked at a childcare center, a position I loved. There’s something special about having the opportunity to be able to give dedicated attention to the children in your care. As a private caregiver the relationship between the child and the families are more attuned.
