I started babysitting in middle school when my little brother was born. At first, it was small sits while my parents ran to the grocery store or stepped out for a few hours, but it quickly became something I really enjoyed.
When I got into high school, I began caring for children for longer periods of time and started nannying during the summer months. . I also worked part time tutoring middle school students in English and math, which gave me experience helping kids build confidence with schoolwork and study habits.
When I got to college, I started working for a professional sitter service, which allowed me to work with a wide range of families and children of different ages. Through that experience I learned how to quickly adapt to different households, routines, and personalities while making sure kids feel safe, comfortable, and supported.
