A little bit about me

I have no experience working with other children, but I have taken care of my younger brother since he was 4-7 years old, I bathe him, take care of him, play with him and feed him, I am a student in high school, I am 16 years old, this year I will study 12th year, and I am looking for a job to help parents, as well as to earn money for my needs, I do not speak English very well, it is low for my level, but I can understand basic instructions, I know that taking care of a child is not easy, it is something that requires effort, dedication and a lot of care.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

As I said, I haven't worked with other children, but I have taken care of my younger brother while my parents work, so I can help them with whatever they need.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to draw, play anything, riddles, board games, I can watch movies, or video games, I adapt to your needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important thing about being a nanny is being responsible and caring. When you take care of a child, the parents are entrusting you with something incredibly valuable, so you have to be attentive, follow instructions, and be punctual. I also think it takes a lot of patience, because children sometimes get frustrated or fidgety, and it's best to treat them calmly and lovingly.

Another thing I consider key is safety. I always make sure they're not in danger or putting things in their mouths, and I also like to communicate well with the parents, telling them how everything went and if anything happened.

And well, I also try to be creative. I like to play, read stories, draw, or whatever they enjoy, because if they're entertained, they feel happy and safe.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don't know, I like spending time with children, I've taken care of my nephews, my brother or cousins.

Giselle S. - Seeking Work in Orlando

Babysitter Available in Orlando, FL: Giselle S.

Hi! I’m Giselle, a university student currently studying at UCF. I come from a very multicultural background and have lived in several countries, which has made me adaptable and comfortable with families from different cultures. I have around 5 years of experience nannying during the summers, caring for children and spending time with them at the beach. I’m responsible, patient, energetic, and enjoy creating fun experiences while making sure children feel safe and cared for. I can also help with homework and schoolwork.
I speak five languages: Italian, Spanish, English, French, and Russian. I believe exposing children to different languages at home is a wonderful gift. I grew up speaking Italian with my dad and Russian with my mom, which is how I naturally became multilingual. Families can let me know which language they would like me to speak with their children, and I’d be happy to incorporate it naturally into our time together.
