A little bit about me

Hello families! I am a freshman in college studying for my criminal justice degree from home looking for a full time childcare job. I find joy in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive in. One of the experiences that has shaped my passion for childcare is my time working at an aftercare program for a private school called St. John the Evangelist in Silver Spring Maryland. My coworker and I cared for 20 children ages 3-6 daily after school. It was incredibly rewarding to see the children grow and develop under my care. In addition to my work at the aftercare program, I have several years of experience in babysitting and tutoring. I am employed with Aristotle circle tutors and have worked at group homes and with clients tutoring children of all ages and tutored multiple subjects. These experiences have taught me how to connect with children on an individual level, understanding their unique interests and needs.
