The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe that providing a loving and nurturing environment is essential for young children, particularly during the critical early years of development. Fostering growth, building trust, and establishing strong, lasting relationships with both children and their families are the core aspects of my role as a caregiver. By being a consistent and supportive presence in their lives, I aim to promote healthy development and create a foundation for lifelong well-being.
My experience with special needs children...
I've had the opportunity to support children with special needs I take the time to understand each child's unique preferences and dislikes, and adapt my communication style to meet their individual needs.
For children with Autism and Sensory Processing Disorders, I focus on creating a supportive environment that allows them to engage in activities they enjoy while gently encouraging them to try new things, I build trust and help them feel more comfortable and confident.
Working with children with ADHD has also given me valuable insight. I establish a daily routine is essential for helping these children stay organized and focused. Visual schedules and checklists can be especially helpful in providing a sense of structure and predictability. I believe in involving children in all aspects of daily life, whether it's cooking, baking, or other activities. By giving them hands-on opportunities to participate and contribute, It’s important to develop life skills and build their confidence.

I used to work with this family and their child went off to daycare and I thought the child forgot who I was but the second he saw me his face lit up and he came straight to me it was just the most pure and rewarding moment.
