A little bit about me

I am a mother of 5, with 2 sons in the military and 3 daughter's in collage. You must have patience and an open mind to be able to communicate with children on different levels. I have found over the years that children need time and attention, which includes listening and talking to a child. This part of comminication brings positive results and allows you to teach them and guide them in a direction that will allow them to be productive and healthy in today's society. Encouraging children to do their best and supporting them as they grow will give them confidence to succeed. I have a granddaughter with special needs and she has taught me so much. Although she is Blind her determination, giant heart and needs has giving me a different out look on life and has open the door to many posibilities to the things that a child can accomplish with love and support.
This allows me to be a great support system to a families needs when caring for their children. Trusting that when their children are in my care they will be safe, I will teach them, encourage them and provide the kind of care that meets the families needs.
