For almost 17 years, I've worked in a child care setting educating children from infants- to older preschools. Plus, I have experience as an afterschool and summer camp counselor. In addition to my experience, I have three early childhood certifications with an emphasis in Infant and Toddler and Child Development studies.

I spend time outdoors with children, I'm trained in forest-based education, reading books, doing hands-on learning activities, puppetry/music and possibly customizing a lesson plan suitable to meet that child/children's needs.

I believe the most part about being a nanny is giving loving responsive care for children. Because all early learners have different types of needs and love language and through the discovery of connection and learning the image of the child we can develop a strong foundation that will last through adulthood.

I believe my favorite nanny moment is when I do activities outdoors with children. The outdoors is like another extension of the classroom. It's the simple things like giving me a hug when it's time to go home or simply reminding their parents what activities we did that day.
