I have experiences with children from helping my family babysit/nanny from all ages but I also like to volunteer and do more for the community. I volunteer at children’s hospital and homeless shelters because I believe everyone deserves unconditional love no matter where it comes from.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I actually enjoy prepping the kids activities based on what they like and I really get to know the kids I care for. They deserve to feel heard and seen. I love to take them on hikes and go play at the park and teach them about things we learned as we go and I love to help them draw and color and love to watch educational movies to teach them about different experiences people have in the world.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most to me about being a nanny is the bond you create and share with the kids. I understand how it’s hard to try and do both when all you want to do is be with your kid, but I appreciate the parent for letting me come in and help make life easier for everyone and allowing me to create the bond with the children and let the kids know you’re there for them it’s almost like another outlet for them express themselves and truly be the best version that they can be.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments come towards the end of the night because I like to sit my kids down and ask them what they learned about today? What they liked/disliked about today? What’s something nice that you did today? And what’s something you’re most grateful for about today? I like to do this because i like them to feel heard and appreciated. I love to teach my kids kindness because you never know what anyone is going through.
