A little bit about me

HI! My name is Aria Holmes, I recently just graduated from Tennessee State University with a degree in Public Health. To give a little background, while in elementary school I always knew that I wanted to work with kids. Every career day I would dress up as a pediatrician, I would beg my Mom to have more kids but she would always remind me that she did not want to have kids out of wedlock. By the end of my second grade year she received her license to become a foster parent. Over the course of 6 years we've had more than 50 kids live with us.

By 2024 I hope to continue my education and become an OBGYN. I currently work at a group home for girls that are in the system, since working there it has taken a lot out of me. I refuse to give up on them but I would also like to experience more joy when working with kids and that's why I am here .
