I have worked in childcare for almost 5 years. I have worked with all ages for infants to school age. Right now I work in a preschool classroom as a lead teacher. I am responsible for many things such as providing a lesson plan weekly and creating activities. I also prepare breakfast, lunch and snack throughout the day. I maintain a clean classroom and get the kids ready for nap time.
I also used to be a Sunday school teacher.
When I was in high school I volunteered for three summers at a recreational center.

I love to be crafty. Such as painting and coloring, anything that’s sensory is always fun! I love reading and I love it more when the kids are invested in a book. I enjoy being outdoors when the weather is amazing. Swimming is something that I also enjoy and volleyball.

I feel like the most important thing about being a nanny is just communication, and just being on the same page that the kids come first.
My experience with special needs children...
While working in childcare throughout these years I’ve experienced a handful of children with different needs such as children with delays in speech, kids with ADHD and ADD.

I don’t have experience in being a nanny, but I do have experience working with kids, and I love every minute of it, sometimes it can be a challenge working with 13 kids in a classroom, but my favorite part is when the kids love being around me and them telling me how much they love me. I also love when the parents feel comfortable leaving their kid with me, knowing that they’re safe and loved.
