Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am currently teaching 4th grade and love it! I’ve previously spent a summer as a Recreation Leader for an inclusive summer camp for teens, working with children with and without disabilities. I’ve also spent the last two years working as a nanny (first for an elementary school aged boy, and more recently for a toddler girl and elementary school aged boy).
I have volunteered as a teaching assistant for Sunday school at a church, allowing me to work with children ages 0-7, several of whom had special needs. I have also worked as a teaching assistant for a middle school science class, allowing me to work with children ages 12-13.
