Going to the park or for a walk, using paint, having dance parties ion the middle of the living room, I encourage to no screen time on my own I learned basic sign language to communicate better with the babies and I find it a great way to connect with them in their own way.

to set boundaries since day one, with the family and the little one and it is very important that both of the parties follow them to keep everything flowing.
My experience with special needs children...
Babysitting my baby cousin who is autistic (needed to follow some rules to make him feel comfortable around me) no loud noises, no direct eye contact and to strangers ever allowed. I enjoy this experience so much me and him got closer than ever and I learned how to make him feel secure. At the little gym I would teach some special needs kids that owned my heart, we also needed to set boundaries since the beginning that as an adult you never cross because the most important person here is the little one!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was changing a diaper and the little one had a bit of an accident that got a bit messy, thankfully he had lots of clothes to wear and I hand washed my blouse and wore a trash bag for a couple hours. I couldn't stop laughing and the parents either when they saw me wearing that. not my best fashion moment but my best funny memory with that little one.
