My experience with special needs children...

I have worked at Ark Regional Services in Laramie. This organization did not work with children, but adults of various ages. Through my time there I became a certified direct support professional. I completed an extensive course to become more knowledgeable on people with disabilities and intellectual disabilities. This allowed me to provide better care for my clients to live a more enriched life. I then worked as a paraprofessional in the school district. Currently, I am the lead teacher in an all inclusive preschool classroom. Half of my kiddos that I have in my classroom are on IEPs.
