My experience with special needs children...
In my experience working in ABA therapy, I had the privilege of working with children ages 2-7 with autism. My role focused on behavior management, where I utilized individualized strategies to support each child’s unique needs and help them develop new skills. I worked closely with the children to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenges through structured, one-on-one sessions. Building strong, trusting connections with each child was a key part of my approach. By creating a safe and supportive environment, I was able to foster positive relationships and encourage progress, helping the children grow emotionally, socially, and behaviorally. It was incredibly rewarding to witness their successes and be a part of their developmental journey.
