Paying attention to detail is really important. It helps me figure out what kind of toys kids like to play with, what foods do they like the most/least, whether or not they feel/look sick, and the list goes on, but most importantly paying attention to detail can help figure out how to love the child in their love language. Everyone has a love language, even kids. It’s important to figure that out when spending time with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when I had been working with a family for about 4 months at this time, and the little boy I was watching stopped me to say, “ I wuv you Ashwan” (I love you Ashlan). Seriously melted my heart and I hate that the family moved to another state. I miss all of them so much! My favorite family that I’ve ever worked for! Super loving and caring people.
