From working at summer camps to lifeguarding for children, there has never been a day that was not full of smiles. I believe every child should feel fully safe/protected by any childcare provider while also having a blast. Additionally, I make it a priority for every child I encounter to feel that their voice matters and is heard. I believe this is something that is lacking greatly in the childcare community. After lifeguarding for children for about 3 years and forming so many beautiful connections, I realized it was those interactions that made my role feel less like a job and more like a bonding experience with the children.
