I am a hard working recent Graduate (3.6 GPA) with 4.5+ years of work experience, I attended holy cross high school, and competed in Miss Connecticut’s Most Outstanding Teen in 2018. A current college freshman studying online through the University of South Florida, I am a premed major with high aspirations! With a proven knowledge of case management, emergency response, and child/patient care.. I currently work with CVS pharmacy as a pharmacy technician with flexible hours. I grew up being a counselor at my family’s special needs camp in Torrington, CT where I was raised. I have experience with a multitude of different personalities from all walks of life! I am very outgoing, I love outdoors and sports, I love music, trying different foods, traveling, and learning new languages! I am very responsible , communicative, and trust worthy! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Along with being a camp counselor, I was a nanny for my next-door neighbors… I will take care of their kids after school, giving them snacks, helping them with homework, making dinner, getting everyone showered, taking them into bed, all the way until their parents would come home for the night! On the weekends I would watch them all day doing the same thing while incorporating daily routines, games, lessons, meals, and fun!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am very athletic, energetic, and fun! I love to do sport activities, games like hide and seek, along with playing games like musical chairs, and doing arts and crafts projects! There is no limit on fun when it comes to what the kids love to do!

Caring for the kids and the family as a whole! You want the kids to always feel comfortable, happy, and safe .. as if you were an extended member of the family!

My experience with special needs children...

I have almost 5 years of experience with special needs children professionally… Working in the camp setting I am at all types of special needs children, their energy and aura is so unique and one that cannot be replaced! My own sister has a variety of special needs diagnoses, that I live with and learn to love more and more everyday!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Growing up, the kids were always so goofy! Come in every day to a new laugh, a new smile, and a new story whether real or made up.. it always made my day! Teaching kids how to swim, play correctly with one another, while teaching safety was always very important to me as well. Reassuring that you can always have fun while being safe, was a key part of the days! Safety is first.
