I have worked in a daycare caring for infants and toddlers up to age 3. I have also done several babysitting jobs in high school working with kids from ages 1-12. I have also worked as a CCD teacher for public school kids from ages 7-12.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love hiking, running, exercising, reading, writing, spending time with my family, taking my kids to the park, going on adventures with my family, and I am always open to try something new! I am always looking for new activities or excursions to do with my kids and give them new experiences to enjoy!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny is amazing because it gives you the opportunity to meet some amazing kids and work with really great families. I also love being able to see the innocence and true happiness in kids faces and keep that happiness going. You also get to see kids develop and truly shine when their personalities develop and I think that’s a truly amazing thing.
My experience with special needs children...
I have babysat for a child with Down syndrome from the time he was 1-3 and I have also babysat kids with autism and dyslexia. My son also has autism and I have gained a lot of experience caring for him.
