I have enjoyed being in child care for most of my life I have been a babysitter since my early teen years and I enjoy learning about new techniques in play, learning, and communication to help littles grow in confidence and life skills all while having fun and feeling safe.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
playing, going outside to play or explore, snuggling and reading books, singing silly songs and dancing, art projects and learning play. I also enjoy including them in the day to day tasks be it making lunch or cleaning play room I enjoy teaching basic skills and reinforcing manners and communication.

My experience with special needs children...
I have looked after two toddlers under 3 with autism and enjoyed helping with potty training and communication.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was with a family for almost a year with toddlers with autism and were working on potty training. With limited communication skills it was hard to tell if we were making progress and on my last day with them before moving out of state we hit a milestone where she was able to hold it and communicate that she needed to use the potty and it made me cry to see her grow so much in the months with them.
