The bonds we make with the kids are so important. There’s an opportunity to be another person in their life that brings trust to the table, and with that trust comes a bond of friendship. There’s also an opportunity to be a light, to bring joy into a living situation that might be difficult, to bring something safe. Ultimately it’s about the connections we make, but also keeping the kids safe
