More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I started babysitting at 14 and began working more professionally while I was in college. During my four years at university, I worked at a daycare in the infant room, where I gained hands-on experience with feeding, diapering, and supporting early development. In addition, I cared for a 1 year old baby girl every other weekend. We spent our Saturdays and Sundays at the beach, having dance parties in her living room, and reading books before nap
I also cared part-time for another sweet little girl and occasionally her older brother. Our time together was similarly filled with dancing, bedtime stories, and meaningful milestones. Most recently, after graduating, I worked with two energetic boys, ages one and four when I started. Caring for two young boys taught me so much about patience, structure, and nurturing different personalities.

I also double majored, with one major in education, giving me a strong knowledge in child development along with real-world experience.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking my kids on walks, as they get older they turn more into “treasure walks” but it seems common that kids love going on walks! Playing hide and seek will always be a fun one. Arts and crafts is always so fun since i know some classroom activities. And going out is always fun, the park, the museum, the library, outing are always fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

From what i’ve learned, every child is different, but the reoccurring pattern is that they are truly just trying to figure out their little selves out! I think patience and compassion, as well as building rapport so they see you as someone they love and loves them trying to keep them safe!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have so many so i’ll say one from each of my most intimate jobs! My first baby, she was such a giggle happy girl. I would play her music (calvin harris) and she would get so excited to dance, i knew i was teaching her well!
My second baby girl, she said her first word with me! So going forward she would love to surprise me by saying it because she knew it would make me smile!
My most recent boys, i have a billion with them but definitely christmas day when i would bring their toys and they would get so excited that i knew exactly what they wanted! If only they knew i knew them like the palm of my hand!
