Howdy All! My name is Ashley, I am 31 years old, and I live in Winter Park. I have made Childcare my career for the last 7 years with over 10 years of experience. I genuinely enjoy working with children and seeing them develop in all ways.

My current family client will be moving at the end of July for a new job opportunity and I will be available to start August 1st, 2024.

I was recently married in January of this year! I am an avid reader and singer. I love to spend time on the water, either on the Gulf Coast or on the many Florida springs. I enjoy cooking and experimenting with recipes!

I am a relaxed, flexible, and easygoing person with a lot of personality. I believe in open and easy communication.

I have many reference letters, some with contact information to ask questions about working with me. I have a background and criminal background check from care.com that I can provide also, along with my up-to-date CPR/First Aid accreditation, upon request.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am an enthusiastic Nanny who loves to have fun while following the rules and using our manners. I love to teach a variety of things that are aimed toward developing skills, emotional intelligence, and a sense of self-confidence. I use every opportunity as teaching moments for daily life skills, like manners, forming healthy habits from personal responsibility and hygiene routines. Fun activities range from learning to cook/clean and kitchen safety, educational crafts/projects/ and holiday/birthday celebrations, music (singing and musical development/exposure), dancing, working out (kid style) & stretching. Outside exploring and nature walks, going to the park, museums, and libraries. I am really up for almost anything because I like to get out and create fun memorable learning experiences. My friends joke that I am like a real-life Mary Poppins, and in all honesty, I do like to look to her creative and fun ways as inspiration with a grain of salt.

These are when I see a child who is putting in a lot of effort to learn to do something and then they achieve their goal. The self-pride and confidence that I see bloom on a child's face is the greatest experience.
