More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I began as a mother’s helper at the age of 6. I would do bottle feedings and diaper changes for a family friend’s 6 month old until she turned 1. At 10 I got my first paid babysitting job and have been picking up gigs here and there. I began nannying full time in 2019 and just finished up an 8 month House Manager position.

I enjoy coming up with fun crafts to do and love exploring the outdoors.

My experience with special needs children...
In high school I volunteered for The Friendship Initiative where we worked with children with special needs ages 10-14 doing physical activities. I currently work at an indoor playground that specializes in creating a safe space for children on the spectrum and have worked as a 1/1 for many children with autism.
The most important part about being a nanny...
was when I worked for a family who had a 3 year old girl and a big dog that needed to be walked. Their daughter loved to go for walks, but whenever the dog would do anything he shouldn’t like bark at another dog or try to pull she would say sternly “we don’t do that” with a little finger point. She was so serious and got upset when he wouldn’t listen it was adorable. Sometimes I still mimic her voice when I walk my own dog and he pulls.
