Some things I enjoy doing with children is Reading books, playing board games or playing outside, and coloring. I also enjoy talking to children and seeing what activities they are into and what they like to do for fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I started to babysit for a family friend, she had the most sweetest little 1 year old that was a bit shy. She didn't know how to act around me yet or wasn't comfortable with me yet so I just tried to talk with her. I would grab some of her toys and ask her their names or if she liked those toys ( of course I knew she liked her toys but I just wanted her to get a little comfortable with talking with me). I asked her if I could play with her toys with her and that's when when came out of her little shell, she laughed with me and talked with me and was having so much fun. That moment was the best feeling because I got her to open up with me, after that she didn't want me to leave but I came back the next day and she showed me all her other toys she loved.
