More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Babysitting on an Air Force Base when I resided in Japan. As well as I formerly worked in an elementary school as a school social work intern partnered with a nonprofit in the school district.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me about being a nanny is 1. I’m very child oriented. Especially as a social worker, I love kids and I would help them to love themselves by implementing fun and holistic methods I use at my self love club at the way2real community center.
2. I have a heart and compassion for others. Especially children. I feel that because I am still young myself being 24 years old, everyone is a big kid at heart. I think that’s what keeps us youthful is the mindset and heart.
3. I would say my ability to adapt to the environment of the child and their family and learning ways to communicate and help others when needed. And keep my values and boundaries when needed.
4. To always lead with love, kindness, and respect. More so patience too. God gives us grace everyday so as long as the future kids I may encounter throughout my nanny journey, I will respect them and treat them with dignity as they do the same for me.

My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have much experience. However, with safety precautions and observation through the environment, I would accommodate the child with special needs according to how the parents would like for me to help assist them. Other than that, I do not have much experience.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would be when I lived in Japan from 2017 to 2021, the kids I babysat were kids from my church and we would have a whole days worth of fun activities such as going to the movies, to the park, coloring, dancing on the Wii to just dance, relaxing; chilling and taking nap. Eat whatever the kids would like, and bake cookies or brownies and do whatever else the kids would like to do depending on the weather and how they feel physically from being everywhere that day.

I love being a sitter because I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and caring environment where children feel comfortable and supported. I enjoy helping kids learn, play, and grow while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in good hands.
I have experience caring for children of different ages, including infants, toddlers, and young children. I babysat two boys, one from ages 1–3 and another from infancy to age 2. I have also cared for multiple younger cousins from infancy to age 5. My experience includes diaper changes, bottle feeding, preparing simple meals and snacks, playtime activities, bedtime routines, and supervising children in a safe and engaging way.
