More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My relevant experience working with children began when I was 13 years old, babysitting regularly for family members, friends of family, and non-family families. Two years ago, I started working as an assistant preschool teacher, where I gained hands on experience caring for and supervising young children in a structured setting.

I have also worked in daycare centers in Lee’s Summit and Belton, Missouri, which helped me build strong skills in child supervision, safety, and daily routines. Currently, I work as a CNA in a hospital in a PRN position while attending school part-time. This role has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to care for others in a professional environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing a variety of activities with children, including arts and crafts, imaginative play, learning games, and reading. I also really enjoy bonding with them and getting to know their personalities.

When it’s age appropriate, I like including kids in simple snack prep, which can help build fine motor skills and encourage independence. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as playing in the front or backyard, going to the park, visiting the library, and going on walks. I’m very flexible and believe kids can have fun doing almost anything as long as they feel safe, engaged, and supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is getting to watch my nanny kid grow, developing fine motor skills, learning how to be sociable, and becoming an amazing person. I also love being able to take some of the workload off for parents and giving moms peace of mind, knowing they can relax while I help make their day a little easier.

My experience with special needs children...

Although I don’t have direct experience with special needs care, I approach every child with patience, kindness, and a willingness to learn from parents.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nannying moments is when a child gets genuinely excited to see me like my baby cousin, who would do the tiniest little tippy tap run when I arrived! Those moments are just the cutest and remind me how much a child can trust you. I love knowing parents feel at ease knowing their child is safe, happy, and cared for. Building that trust and connection with both the child and the family is what I love most, and I look forward to creating a strong, beautiful bond together.
