A little bit about me

I'm an active mom of twin sons who are off in college. I stayed home with my sons until they started kindergarten and loved every minute of it. I loved planning and doing activities every day with them. I taught them how to read and do simple math by the time they went to kindergarten. I also cared for other people's children when my boys were young.
As they became older, I went into the landscaping industry. The money is fantastic but it's too hard on my body in the heat and very stressful. I'm looking to leave the industry and do what I love best which is working with children.
I started babysitting at age 11 and was a camp counselor for 4 years in high school during the summers working with ages 6 and up.
After high school, I joined Americorps and worked in an elementary school and at camp in the summer.
I love working with any age, and love keeping kids engaged!
