More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I began working with children at 13, assisting the Youth Sports Coordinator at a metro Atlanta YMCA until I graduated high school in 2019. I have experience working with infants-12 year old children. I current hold the position of lead teacher to 2 year old toddlers at a learning center in Metro Atlanta.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy sports, both indoor and outdoor. Helping with homework, creating sensory bins and learning activities, cooking, and promoting tidiness are areas I excel in. I am CPR/First Aid certified & GA Bright from the start background check cleared.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a nephew on the spectrum for autism and is also non-verbal, whom I am very hands on with. I’ve learned there are other ways to effectively communicate that will better suite his needs. I believe being consistent with speech therapy and interactive learning gives them a routine and builds healthy habits whether it’s physically, mentally or emotionally.

Babysitter Available in Atlanta, GA: Laila K.
Hi, I’m Laila! I’m originally from Virginia but grew up right here in Georgia. I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.A. in Finance, and I currently work as a financial analyst at a tech company. When I’m not working, you can usually find me on a tennis court, planning my next travel adventure, doing yoga, golfing, or volunteering in the community. Even with a busy professional life, working with kids has always been one of my favorite things. I have three younger siblings who keep me laughing and, on my toes, and they’re the reason I’m so comfortable with daily routines, homework help, and fun activities. I’m known for being patient, dependable, and the kind of person who can turn even a regular afternoon into something fun. I love creating a safe, upbeat environment where kids feel supported and excited to be themselves. I’m looking forward to connecting with a family who wants someone positive, reliable, and full of good energy in their home.
