More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have extensive childcare experience across multiple settings, including working at a daycare, spending six months in a 2nd grade classroom, and nannying for a year and a half. Through these roles, I’ve worked with children of different ages and developed a strong ability to balance care, structure, and fun. I graduated high school with a concentration in early childhood care and development, which gave me a solid foundation in child growth and learning. Overall, I’m extremely qualified and bring a well-rounded, hands-on background in childcare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love planning activities that are both fun and meaningful for kids. I really enjoy getting them outside; whether that’s playing games, going on walks, or just letting them explore and stay active. When we’re indoors, I like to focus on engaging, educational activities like reading, creative play, puzzles, and games that encourage learning and critical thinking. I always try to balance fun with purpose, and I prioritize activities that support children’s development and education in a way that still feels enjoyable for them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is building trust - with both the children and their parents. Creating a safe, supportive, and consistent environment where kids feel comfortable, valued, and understood is everything. I also believe it’s important to be a positive role model and to support their growth, whether that’s emotionally, socially, or academically. At the end of the day, it’s about showing up reliably, caring genuinely, and making a meaningful impact in their everyday lives.

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have direct experience working with children with special needs, but I’m very open and eager to learn. I’m patient, adaptable, and committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for every child. I’m more than willing to follow guidance, learn new strategies, and work closely with parents to make sure I’m providing the best care possible.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments has been helping teach one of the toddlers I care for how to swim. Watching her go from being nervous in the water to gaining confidence and getting excited to try on her own was so rewarding. It was one of those moments where you really see the impact you’re making. I also love getting to visit the kids when I’m home from college, it’s so special to see how much they’ve grown and know that you’ve been a consistent, positive part of their lives!
