A little bit about me

Hi my name is Aubrey, I’m a 21-year-old with a strong background working with children of all ages. For the past two years, I’ve worked as a toddler teacher, and before that I was a swim instructor for children ages 2–10. I also completed a full year internship in a kindergarten classroom, which helped me build experience in both structured learning and play-based development.

I love being active and engaged with kids—whether that’s reading together, arts and crafts, outdoor play, or helping them learn and grow in new ways. Families describe me as patient, energetic, and organized. I’m comfortable with infants through school-age children, and I always aim to create a safe, positive, and fun environment.

I am CPR and First Aid certified, comfortable with pets, and able to assist with light housework, driving, and supporting daily routines. I’m currently looking for a full-time nannying position with a family that values communication, warmth, and reliability.

Indoors, I like to incorporate crafts, reading, coloring, and other educational activities that support learning through play. I also enjoy age-appropriate games and music. Outdoors (weather permitting), I love going on walks, engaging in active play, and using sidewalk chalk to encourage creativity and imagination.

The role of a nanny goes far beyond supervision. To me, it’s about being a safe space for children to express themselves, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace. Supporting their growth, celebrating their milestones, and helping them become confident and kind humans is truly the heart of why I love this work.

My favorite nanny moments are the quiet ones where I notice growth happening—when a child suddenly reads a word they struggled with, tries a new skill, or proudly shows me something they’ve created. Knowing that I helped guide them, encouraged them, and made them feel confident enough to try has always touched me. Building those relationships and being part of their learning journey is something that stays with me long after the day ends.
