The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe nurturing, bonding with and loving the children in my care as I would if they were my own is the most important part of nannying. I believe that being a nanny is a huge role and I recognize that as a nanny, I play a part in helping the children in my care to grow into the happiest and healthiest versions of themselves!
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with children with severe ADHD and ODD (oppositional deficiency disorder). I have experience working with parents and therapists doing PCIT (parent child interactive therapy) and Occupational therapy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have way too many favorite moments to pick just one, but I think my favorite and the most exciting moments are when my nanny kids reach milestones!
A specific adorable and funny and absolute favorite memory I have is when my nanny kid and I were watching How to Train Your Dragon for “movie day friYAY” and he kept calling it Jalapeño Dragon. It stuck and will forever be called that from now on!
