A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Audrey and I am a student at the University of Texas at Tyler. I am very spontaneous and always looking for an adventure. I recently traveled to Europe where I visited the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, and Italy. I also lived in Florida in 2024 for about 8 months where I worked for Walt Disney World. I have a big family with many little ones always running around. There are 8 of them in total including 4 nieces and 4 nephews ages [phone number hidden] months, and 9 months. I have always enjoyed babysitting them and always look forward when they come over to visit or when I go and visit home. I have much experience with other children as well including all throughout high school, when I lived in Florida, and up until I left to visit Europe, (around September 2025.) I am an outdoorsy person and rarely like to sit inside. I am majoring in Kinesiology and have about a year and a half left of my degree plan. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In High School, I was a part of a class called the Senior Project Class where each student was required to make a project for the community. Instead of only doing 1 Senior Project, I made 2 which included the Reindeer Run and Friends' Fest. The Reindeer Run included a mile run and games inside including dodge ball, face painting, a hot cocoa bar, cornhole, many other activities, and of course Santa Clause. The event turn out was incredible and children enjoyed this so much, that is was a yearly tradition for other seniors in the Senior Project class. Friends' Fest also was a terrific turn out. This event took place around April and was comparable to an Indoor Field Day. The students that participated were special needs children from different schools from around the area. Over 150 children showed up from these schools and it was a great experience to say that I helped make a part of their day.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Any sort of outdoor activities! I love being outside with the kiddos. Soccer, basketball, hitting the baseball, playing catch, trampoline, chalk, scooters, bikes!
I also love indoor activities such as coloring, painting, and board games!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny, for me, is safety. While nannying, I feel the responsibility of being the person they trust most while their parents are gone while also you, (the parents) trusting me to keep your children safe while you cannot be with them. I am a very fun, adventurous person, only is others around me are being safe.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was playing Candy Land with a little girl I was nannying who was 6. She enjoyed this game so much that we would play for hours while her parents were at work. It always brought a smile to her face and so I never said no to not playing. (unless there was homework to be done)
