I love spending time with kids by playing hide and seek, doing arts and crafts, and baking simple treats together. Storytime with fun books is always a favorite too! It’s a great way to bond and have fun! Going outside is a must, as we burn that energy and get the body moving!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One day, I was watching a little girl who was super curious about everything. We were in the kitchen, and she asked, “Can we make a cake?” I thought, why not? So, we started mixing flour, sugar, and all the fun stuff.
Suddenly, she then said, “I want to add glitter!” I laughed and said, “Honey, we can’t eat glitter!” But she was determined. So, we ended up with a “sparkly” cake that looked like it belonged at a fairy party!
When her mom came home, she took one look at our creation and said, “What happened here?” I just smiled and said, “It’s a magical cake!” We all had a good laugh, and let’s just say, the cake was more for show than for eating!
