A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Autumn Alston and l am a professional childcare provider. I have been working in childcare for 8 years now with different areas of experience. At the start of my career, I did summer camp counseling/overnight camp, and after school programs with STEM. I then began working with the agency Mom's Best Friend doing part time babysitting for about 4 years. I then moved on to full time nannying, and also provided professional care for the Houston Rockets and Astros' players' kids during the season at their stadiums. I am currently nannying full time -where I am caring for one physically disabled child, and two neurodivergent children, but am looking to move on by this fall of
2024.I also have a formal resume and letter of recommendation I can provide offering more detail of my experience.

My experience with special needs children...

I currently nanny a child who has SMA(Spinal Muscular Atrophy) which is a physical disability, and a toddler who has been diagnosed with austism, asberger syndrome, and pica, and has certain food allergies. My third nanny kid has adhd and asberger syndrome as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching my nanny kids perform at their dance recitals as I used to dance, and it felt like a full circle moment.
