From the age of 7, I played a significant role in raising my two younger brothers while helping support my family. I assisted with their daily routines, including preparing meals and after-school snacks, helping with homework, bath time, bedtime, playtime, and teaching them responsibility through age-appropriate chores. I provided a safe, loving, and structured environment that helped them grow into respectful, healthy, and confident young men. Today, they are thriving academically, participate in sports, maintain healthy lifestyles, and understand the importance of kindness, discipline, and hard work. This experience taught me patience, responsibility, communication, problem-solving, and how to provide attentive, compassionate care to children of different ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating fun, engaging, and memorable experiences for children while helping them learn and grow. Some of my favorite activities include field days and outdoor games, movie nights, arts and crafts, creative educational activities, baking lessons, board games, reading stories, and taking fun ice cream trips together. I also enjoy encouraging imagination, building confidence, and creating a safe, positive environment where children feel loved, supported, and excited to learn through play.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel valued, supported, and free to be themselves. A nanny is more than someone who watches children—they are a positive role model who helps encourage kindness, confidence, good habits, and personal growth. Building a strong relationship with both the children and their parents through trust, communication, and consistency is what allows a child to thrive.

While I do not have direct experience caring for children with special needs, I am eager to learn and committed to providing every child with the patience, kindness, and individualized care they deserve. I understand that every child has unique needs, and I am more than willing to adapt to their routines, follow parents’ guidance, and learn any specific care techniques necessary to help them feel safe, supported, and loved. My favorite moments are when I can see a child’s appreciation through their actions, whether it’s a big smile, a hug, or their excitement to spend time together.
