I have been a full time nanny for two children (ages 8 and 5) for the past two summers. Since I was 13 I have worked many different babysitting jobs with different familys and children of all ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am very creative and love doing arts and crafts, I also love spending time outdoors and playing games or sports. In the past I have enjoyed doing baking activities with children i've babysat or playing board games, etc.

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is the relationship you build with the child. Creating trust, being someone they feel safe with, enjoy spending time with, and supporting them through both fun and challenging moments makes all the difference
My experience with special needs children...
have experience babysitting a child with behavioral challenges who was easily overstimulated and prone to emotional outbursts. Over time, I got to know her triggers and learned effective ways to help her regulate her emotions by being calm and patient and making her feel heard and understood. Other than this, I don't have any other experiences with special needs but I am very open to working with them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of my favorite moments working with children were when the kids made me sweet handmade gifts like cards, crafts or bracelets, playing pickleball together in the summer, and building imaginary fairy forts outside.
