More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I baby sat children for multiple families in a home school co-op from ages 16-18. I then became a long term nanny for one of the families for over a year.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Story time, going to the playground, taking walks, making up new art crafts to try, cooking/baking if age appropriate, creating outdoor scavenger hunts.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Safety is always number one but I feel like the most important part about being a nanny is patience and fun! Each child is their own person trying to figure life out for the first time. I believe in an open mind and learning what each child needs. I also believe in being silly and fun and making sure their life is full of laughter and adventure.

My experience with special needs children...

I have some experience with children with specific behavioral needs like impulse control, chronic anxiety, and being non verbal. I’m comfortable learning and working with a child with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I was with my long term family. I was with the 6 yr B, 4 yr B, and 2 yr G. We were having afternoon tea that we made and listening to Peter Pan while working on crafts and laughing and talking. It was so simple and ordinary but I felt so grateful to get to watch these amazing kids grow up and have these happy simple moments together.
